METSTRADE 2019: Webasto Comfort for Modern Marine Market
Innovative heating, air-conditioning, cooling and roof systems
for all boat sizes
Stockdorf/Amsterdam – November 19, 2019 – At METSTRADE, the
world's largest trade fair for marine equipment, Webasto, expert in thermal
management, together with Indel Webasto Marine expert in marine refrigeration,
present its innovative thermal and roof systems for the future marine market.
From 19 to 21 November, in Hall 12, Stand 603, Webasto shows for the first time
a digital control unit for its thermal systems and the expansion of its sunroof
range for boats.
Future-oriented operation of thermal systems
At Webasto, the focus is always on comfort for the customer. The
new, BlueCool Connect device connects all air-conditioning systems in the
BlueCool series to a network and thus enables simple operation of all devices
on board via smartphone, tablet or PC. It can also be used for remote
maintenance and software updates. The BlueCool Connect automatically connects
to the mobile network and also offers an ad hoc WiFi connection at sea. The
BlueCool Connect and all air conditioners can also be controlled via
multifunction displays (MFD) using NMEA 2000 or plug and play Ethernet
connection. Boat owners can thus choose between BlueCool MyTouch display,
smartphone, tablet or multifunction displays (MFD). Webasto will also be
showing its range of air conditioners of various sizes, including the proven
BlueCool C-series, S-series and V-series. In addition, Webasto is showing
heaters for watercraft of various sizes, such as the fuel-powered air heater
Air Top Evo 55 and the water heater Thermo Pro 90 with heating outputs of up to
15 kW.
Individual roof systems for marine applications
In addition to the proven shading solutions of the Folding Shade
and Rolling Shade series as optimum sun protection on the water, Webasto
presents innovations from the BlueSky sunroof series. Following the market
trend, all BlueSky roof systems are now also available in a completely black
version. This creates a modern look and is in harmony with the black window
pillars and frames. A new, premium version of the electrically operated BlueSky
roof is also equipped with a grey-tinted glass plate instead of an acrylic
plate. The product range is rounded off by a more economical, manual version of
the BlueSky roof. This is also available in a smaller version (500mm x 500mm)
and can therefore be used in smaller boat models.
Highly efficient refrigerators and freezers
The Isotherm refrigerators and freezers, the widest range on the
market, provide cool drinks and food on board. Depending on the desired
temperature and available space, various wine cellars, refrigerator and freezer
units as well as ice machines are available, such as the user friendly
refrigerator models of the Isotherm Drawer series. The exclusive Divino The One
wine cooler blends seamlessly into the design of any boat model. LED lighting
in 27 possible colors completes the elegance of the wine cooler.
