The Samsung Galaxy S8 and Galaxy S8 Plus were conspicuously missing from MWC 2017, with the Soth Korean electronics giant tight-lipped on its absence except giving a teaser of what the public might expect.

But last week Samsung confirmed the release of its Galaxy S8 and Galaxy S8 Plus on March 29 this year. To give a little proof of what to be expected to that release date, South Korea’s English-language business news, The Investor reported that Samsung will be open to pre-orders for both phones on April 10th or just under two weeks after the release. Additionally, the Galaxy S8 series will then go on sale on April 21st or the usual timetable of Samsung’s April release strategy.
